ATCM London: London Growth Plan and the High Street

On the 27th February, Mayor, Sadiq Khan, launched the London Growth Plan. This plan aims to reinvigorate the economy of the capital by boosting productivity and creating 150,000 new jobs by 2028.

This opens a number of questions. What role will the high street play in this growth plan? How will it dovetail with the UK Government’s policies such as local government reorganisation, business rates and industrial strategy? How does the Trump influenced economic challenges impact the Mayor’s aspirations? And how does the place management industry capitalise on the opportunities?

The next meeting of ATCM London will explore the London Growth Plan in-depth providing opportunities for roundtable discussion as well as contributions from members.
