The next meeting of the ATCM South West region will take place on the 24th March. We are delighted to be hosted by Exeter Cathedral.
This meeting will be a Visitor Economy Special, featuring a tour of Exeter Cathedral, and a presentation from Falmouth on an award winning public-private partnership that supports a key part of Cornwall’s visitor economy.
This roundtable meeting will conclude with an update on COVID-19 and the implications for the South West. COVID-19 has already contributed to the closure of Flybe, an Exeter based business and an important part of the South West’s connectivity domestically. Uncertainty around the continuation of some routes could further undermine visitor economy for the South West in addition to the fear caused by COVID-19. We will explore the implications in detail.
The ATCM policy update will include a summary and discussion of the implications of the Budget in response to COVID-19 with the one year scrapping of business rates for all businesses with a rateable value of £51,000 or less.
This meeting is now open to bookings.
