ATCM Ireland

On the 31st December, Chinese authorities notified the World Health Organisation of an outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan City, later classified as COVID-19. By the 30th January 2020, WHO had declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.

COVID-19 has triggered a wave of public and political panic globally as we struggle to contain this fast moving virus. ATCM Ireland will convene for a roundtable discussion on COVID-19, the implications for town centres, high streets and tourism and how we can respond as an industry. This will take place in Dublin on the 26th March.

We will also take the opportunity to catch up on the work and activities happening across Ireland in town and city management and Purple Flag. We will update members on our plans for an international Purple Flag conference and Summer School 2020.

As always, this meeting is open to all across the island of Ireland.
